Hi good people in dA, I've been absent for quite awhile but I am not dead ;) Been playing around with my Canon 60D and I am very pleased with it. I've got a 50mm 1.8 (the cheap one :) ) at Christmas and been trying it out too. I think the lens is very nice for the price, not very sharp at 1.8 or 2.8 but for 100€..... So, I'll be posting some new photo. Hope you enjoy. Cheers

I have a new toy to play with. I bought the Canon 60D a few days ago and I am still learning how to "play" with it. I can't believe how different it is from the Nikon. I know if you are shooting in Manual Mode maybe it isn't so different, but I am still in AV and TV mode and it is a lot different. The Canon came with the 18-135mm IS lens and I am quite pleased with it, but thinking in buying a 35mm or a 50mm lens to go with it. Any tips or settings for both photography and video modes? Thanks.

Hi people, just sold my Nikon D60 and I am trying to decide what to buy! My heart is divided. Nikon D7000 vs Canon 60D ( the two I can afford). The Nikon comes with the 15-105mm VR lens and the Canon with the 15.135mm IS lens. I am a little inclined to the Nikon, but some opinion would be nice. Cheers
